| | | | Molly O'Brien, Vocals Regency's only single dedicated vocalist, Molly grew up in Barrington with the boys. A longtime singer and actress, it was a mix of these two qualities which let Regency to invite her to join them, late in the spring of 2008. Although their collaboration is still new, the results are eagerly anticipated, and will be seen on Regency's first album. Molly attends Bridgewater State College. | |
| | | | Edward Bezerra- Guitar, Vocals Regency's guitarist, primary composer and second vocalist, Edward Rider Bezerra is one (and technically the younger) of the Rider twins that make up half of Regency. A talented musician from an early age, he learned every instrument that he could lay his hands upon, counting amidst his extensive repetoire french horn, saxophone, trumpet, piano, guitar, bass, harmonica and more. He is also an amateur composer. Outside of the band he both studies singing classically and theater. He will be entering college in the fall. | | | | | Jake Blasbalg- Guitar, Keyboard, Backup Vocals The first addition to Regency, Jake's joining was what gave the Nobles the impetus they needed to set themselves finally in the public sight. Providing both guitar and keyboard, depending on the song, Jake also did all recording and acoustic engineering on the Let Me Be! EP. Although obligations to the United States Air Force will keep him away from Regency this summer season, his younger brother Jesse (Who played the violin solo on Let Me Be) will take his place until he can rejoin them. He is a singer/songwriter on his own account. | | | | | Jesse Blasbalg- Guitar, Violin Jesse, Jake's little brother, has been around music whole life. Influenced by his family in New York, he started violin at the age of seven, and now plays both solo and in an orchestra. He picked up guitar by himself, and has now played for about three years. Other than those two instruments, he also plays bass, clarinet, banjo, violin, and guitar. The first time that he was brought into contact with Regency, then the Nobles, was when he played the violin solo on the track 'Let Me Be!'. He attends public school. | | | | | Bastian Bezerra- Bass, Backup Vocals Regency's bassist, primary lyricist and sometimes vocalist, Bastian was born Sebastian Rider Bezerra on December 8th, 1989. Growing up with his fraternal twin Edward, he was exposed to both music and literature from a very early age, something that would fuel his love both of song but also of words, something reflected in his songwriting style. The bass was not an immediate choice for him- instead, he chose it when he and his brother had to divide a guitar and bass between them as part of a birthday present. He also plays acoustic guitar by himself, as do most of Regency. He is a student at the University of Rochester in History and Creative Writing. | |
| | | | Cameron Mancini- Drums Regency's drummer and sometimes lyricist, Cameron is the third and final member of the original Nobles trio. Born to a father with a great love of music, Cam grew up surrounded by the rock greats- even if Bon Jovi wasn't there, thanks to a disagreement his father had had with him some years before. His addition to the Rider twins formed the Nobles in their first form, and the form it would remain in for a year. Cam is an amateur writer, and currently studies Political Science at Bristol Community College. | | | | | | | | Staff | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Erika Davis- Publicity Director Born in Providence RI, Erika Davis had always been a lover of music and art. As a child she chose to sing, enough to make her parents regret starting her singing lessons. As an A Cappella enthusiast, she joined the ‘Falling Sharps’ going into her freshman year of high school. From a young age she had known Bastian and Edward, but they lost contact only to re-establish it last year, when she learned about the band she fell in love with their music and volunteered to help in any way possible. | | | | | Kat Harvey- Image Consultant A long time actress in community theater programs, Kat Harvey grew up like the rest of the band in Barrington, RI, where she attended high school with the others. An interest in costumes lead to a school-endorsed project, and that work resulted in the invitation from the band to serve as an image consultant, that is, the person everyone goes to when they don't know how to put on clothes. She could also be called the 'mother' of the band. She is a student at Rhode Island College. | | | | | Emma Rainwater- Brass, Orchestration Another child of Barrington, Rhode Island, Emma discovered her passion for the trumpet at a very early age, around the same time that she let another little kid play with her Star Wars toys- Bastian Bezerra. Many, many years later, she now lends her formidable talents to Regency as a brass player and general orchestrationist. She is a student at the University of Rochester. | |
